The NORFACE group met in Lisbon on November 6, 2009. Participants were Dr. Sara Hobolt, Dr. Sara Silvestri, Prof. dr. Claes de Vreese, Dr. Andre Freire, Prof. dr. Wouter van der Brug, Dr. Hajo Boomgaarden, and Malte Carlos Hinrichsen. Future publications were discussed and the REM content analysis was presented.

The NORFACE group met in Berlin on November 16-17, 2007. Participants were Dr. Sara Hobolt, Dr. Sara Silvestri, Prof. dr. Michael Minkenberg, Prof. dr. Claes de Vreese, Dr. Andre Freire, Prof. dr. Wouter van der Brug, Dr. Hajo Boomgaarden, and Malte C. Hinrichsen.  The general project planning was discussed,  and the first survey drafted.

The international project Religion, Euroskepticism and the Media was funded by NORFACE as one of twelve projects each receiving 500.000 euro for research. NORFACE - New Opportunities for Research Funding Co-operation in Europe (www.norface.org) - is a partnership between research councils from Estonia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden and the United Kingdom to increase co-operation in research and research policy in Europe.
